Jesus Satisfies

godly perspectives

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword?… No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. Romans 8:35, 37

One truth that has helped us powerfully in overcoming disappointments is  consciously giving Jesus the first place in our hearts and continuing to surrender our lives to his Lordship on a daily basis.

As we move forward, we invite you to surrender your hearts with us to the reality that Jesus is the center of it all.

With an honest and sincere heart, we encourage you to pray out,

  1. “Lord, forgive me for ever putting anything else in your place on my heart’s throne.”
  1. “Jesus, I want you to have supremacy in my heart.”

It is our wholehearted belief that everything needed for this life is found in Jesus. Indeed, he is the perfect companion for your soul and the one who will satisfy the deepest desires of your heart. Whenever the circumstances of life come like storms and try to disappoint you, the freedom is found in believing the truth, and not letting anything or anyone matter more than the One who matters most. What and who matters most? Jesus – according to God’s Word, he alone is the most important and surpasses all others. This may sound like something you’ve heard before, but we have realized that in order for this to be practical, you absolutely must,

1. Be intentional about consciously choosing him alone to be your satisfaction each day.

2. By faith, choose each moment to put your trust in who Christ is and what he has done for you.

3. Whenever you are tempted to seek anything else for your satisfaction, declare out loud the truth that he alone is your satisfaction.

Example: Thank you God that you completely satisfy my life. I praise you and declare in faith that nothing and no one will ever have the power to steal my joy. You are my everything and I look to you right now. In Jesus’ name, amen.
